Tottenham want Anthony Joshua’s next fight in the UK to be held at their new stadium, reports claim.The world heavyweight champion is expected to return to the ring his homeland later this year after his New York title defence on June 1.2

Joshua has previously fought at Wembley

Joshua is yet to discover his opponent for that fight after Jarrell Miller failed three drug tests.The Brit has previously fought in front of 90,000 at Wembley, and according to The Sun, Spurs want to make their 62,062-arena his new London home.Unlike the Wembley surface, which was left in tatters following Joshua’s win over Alexander Povetkin in October, Spurs would simply slide the football pitch under the south stand and host the fight on the artificial surface underneath.
